Time for some new chapters

Early in June we celebrated the beginning of many new chapters in the Lee Family!

Barbara retired from being a school teacher- HOORAY!
Austina graduated from DU with her BA in music and MA in Education-CONGRATULATIONS!
Clement retired from HP-WAY TO GO!
Holden is working hard at graduating high school and moving out on his own for the first time- GREAT JOB!

Tony and I helped them celebrate with a party at our house so all their friends and our family could celebrate together with drinks, food, and great company. We had so much fun!

Here are some pictures from Austina's Graduation from DU on Friday June 3rd and the Party on June 4th

Our New Fence, Part 1

we discovered there was cement holding up the posts.... it's just that it had been burined by years of dirt- tony destroyed this piece without any powertools

framing up! you can see the second section and how old it is!
hard at work hanging the slats
almost done!
the last part of the section, and by far the hardest, our NEW GATE!!!!!!! when we moved in, the gate was chained together and you could barely open it. Now it's easy to access our back yard!
Thanks Tony for all your hard work and Thanks to my parents for helping with the haul away off all the old fencing!

a blog for blogging's sake

I feel like I am behind on blogging. So here are my recent happenings:

-doctor's appointment today with glucose tolerance test, not as bad as I thought it would be. better tasting than colyte for sure!
-we plan to continue the fence building saga in 2 weekends (since tony has drill) and I hope the second section will be done before Tony has to leave for AT in July
-praying for my Grandpa daily
-thinking I should get more on top of buying things for the baby, since we have nothing. Yea. And registering. Any suggestions for where to register?
-Austina is moving into her new house!
- I am getting huge and it is HOT here. I am very excited about tomorow's high of only 68 and promises of many rain showers
-Clark had to go to the shop and get fixed, and it was all free under my extended warranty! I hope and pray that anything else that needs to break will do so in the next 9,000 miles before my warranty is up
-We had a super stellar graduation party and celebration weekend last weekend. WHEW. I should probably post pictures, I'll get to that soon.....
-that's all for now, stay tuned. I do actually have tons of pictures to put up....
