Christmas

Do you find that Christmas becomesa  more and more a chaotic time that you don't look forward to as your grow older?

I fear that everyone becomes grown ups and forgets that Christmas time is magical and amazing for a very important reason.

For Jesus tis the reason for the season.

I can't wait to decorate our house the day after thanksgiving, and get just as excited to decorate the Christmas tree (if not more), and try to remember that it is NOT about how much you spend, but rather about a thoughtful gift, or card, or just a greeting that is the best present.

So this year, my challenge to all is to remember what an amazing gift we recieved in Jesus, and bless each other during the upcoming Christmas season, instead of complaining about traffic, or lines at stores, or how much we have to spend on each other.

Let's instead focus on loving each other, and spending time together, and not on who got us the best present, or even who gave us a gift at all, and spread some good old fashioned CHRISTMAS SPIRIT.

Happy Holidays my butt- that's MERRY CHRISTMAS to you.
